Conditions - Fatigue
Patrick Massey MD, PhD ALT-MED Medical and Physical Therapy, Elk Grove Village Il and serving the Chicago area
After pain, fatigue is probably the most common medical complaint. Although not the most common complaint, it is the one that is most ignored. It is brushed off as simply part of growing old, or get some rest.
Fatigue is a very strong signal that something is wrong and the body is not able to function well. It may be as simple as a lack of refreshing sleep. However, it may also be imbalances in the endocrine system as a result of too much physical and mental stress. Stress and fatigue follow each other like the sun and the moon.
There are no specific tests for fatigue…but chronic fatigue is linked to heart disease, diabetes, depression and pain.
You do not have to spend the next 2-3 decades tired. It can be reversed. There are answers and solutions.

After experiencing sciatic pain on the left side, I had surgery to solve the problem. Shortly thereafter, I began to have sciatic pain down the other side. I assumed that surgery was necessary again. After beginning the (ALT-MED) program and doing the exercises for a couple of months, the pain was gone. I have been pain free for over six months.
